Day with IZS

Discover the work of those who help and protect.

What does police gear look like up close? What do firefighters carry in their tanker? How does the training of service dogs work or how to correctly provide first aid?

Come to the Day with the Integrated Rescue System (IZS) and enjoy an afternoon full of interesting demonstrations, technology, and activities for both children and adults. You'll have a unique opportunity to meet members of the security and rescue units, see their equipment, and learn more about their daily work.

When and where?

September 15, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at OC NOVO PLAZA (in front of the center and in the arcade)

Free admission.

What awaits you?

Police of the Czech Republic

You will see the vehicle of the Emergency Motorized Unit (PMJ) and the police officers will introduce you to their armament and equipment.

Fire Rescue Service

You will get a look inside a large tanker sprayer and become acquainted with the equipment used by firefighters during interventions.

Prison Service of the Czech Republic

Look forward to a demonstration of a service dog trained to search for drugs and learn more about the work of dog handlers.

Municipal Police

They will present their service vehicle and motorcycle, bringing visitors closer to their daily activities.

Mounted Police Unit

During the afternoon, you will also have the chance to meet service horses and their riders.

Traffic Education

In a fun way, test your knowledge of road traffic rules and learn more about road safety.

First Aid

Learn the basics of first aid and practice resuscitation on a mannequin under the guidance of experienced instructors.

Program for the whole family

The Day with IZS is intended for both young and old visitors. Children can explore emergency vehicles, try selected equipment, and meet members of various units. Adults will gain interesting information about safety, prevention, and providing first aid.

The event offers a unique opportunity to delve into the behind-the-scenes work of the integrated rescue system and get to know the technology and people who care for our safety every day.
